Event description

Description

Join Vanessa Kellam , Parent Engagement Coordinator at Health Connected, for a frank discussion about the sexuality and dating culture of teenage digital natives.

In this interactive workshop, we'll talk about the impact of social media and online "tech sex" on relationships, and how parents and trusted adults can engage their children in open and honest conversations.

Contrary to popular belief, teens want parental input and advice about sexual health and relationships!

Health Connected is the leading sexuality and relationships education organization in the Bay Area. Its mission is to educate adolescents in schools so they can make informed decisions about their own sexual health.

Parents, students, educators, and community members welcome! Spanish interpretation will be available. Free admission and light refreshments.

Woodside Parent Education Series events are sponsored by Woodside PTSA, Sequoia Healthcare District, and Sequoia Union High School District.
