WHS Class of 1989 Reunion

Wolfson High School Class of 1989's reunion has been scheduled the weekend of June 28-30, 2024.

There will be a "meet & greet" on Friday, June 28th at the Southbank Hotel By Marriott Jacksonville Riverwalk lobby at check-in with an option to hang out at Southbank Johnnies or walk to the Chart House for Happy Hour. Happy Hour will not be sponsored by the reunion committee & reservations are strongly encouraged. We have a booking link for the hotel!! Book at the group rate for Wolfson High School Reunion Class of 1989. Last Day to Book- Tuesday, May 28th.

There will be options for the Saturday DAY activity.

Option 1- Guided Walking tour. This will be a Founders themed tour with "Isaiah Hart", the city founder as the guide. This tour will include tasting on the Northbank side of the St. Johns River, with the last tasting held at a craft brewery. The cost for this event will be $30 per person. The tour will begin at 11:30am and last approximately two hours.

Option 2- One hour boat cruise along the St. Johns River. This would be a "happy hour" tour of sorts prior to the main event. This link can be used to purchase your ticket. Beer & Wine will be available for purchase on board.

Option 3- Southbank Riverwalk. 1 1/4-mile concrete boardwalk along the St. Johns River. Attractions along the way include Friendship Fountain & the Museum of Science & History. Opportunities for Breakfast or Lunch at The Village Bread Cafe. Any costs incurred would be on the individual(s). Looking into a group rate for the MOSH. Details will be provided once confirmed. VYSTAR Members Discount to MOSH- Applies to cardholders only. Please present proof of VyStar debit/credit card/member ID to receive $5 off admission to the Museum. (Discount does not apply to Senior, Military, Student, or Youth tickets.)

Our MAIN EVENT will be Saturday evening, June 29th and will take place at The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville as the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp take on the Nashville Sound. The game begins at 6:30pm. We will have a reserved space where we will be served a picnic-style dinner, which will include Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, BBQ Pork, Chips, Homestyle Coleslaw, Fresh Baked Cookies, Soda and Water. We will also have reserved tickets together, sitting along the 3rd base line in Section 101. Saturday night's game is being sponsored by Maxwell House.The first 2,000 people in the gates will be going home with sweet coffee baseball cap. **Show up EARLY, as the promotional giveaways go quickly. Be sure to stick around after the game for Saturday night fireworks!

This is a ticketed event that must be purchased in advance. The planning committee in order to meet the required deposit for the venue is offering a special surprise gift for the FIRST TWENTY TICKETS SOLD.

Individual Tickets for this event are $50.00. Couples are $80.00.

Sunday, June 30th- options for brunch will be provided; however, there will not be a reunion sponsored event.
