WhoU~Online Singles Event (Ages 50+)

Attention Michiana Singles! Join us for a fun evening of low pressure networking with other area singles virtually from the comfort of home.

Event Schedule:

Before the event:

~Look for an email reminder from WhoU before the event with instructions about how to access and use Google Meet if you are not familiar.

~Email Whouservices@gmail.com if you cannot make it. We tryto balance our male to female participant numbers, so as a courtesy, please let us know if you have a last minute conflict that prevents you from attending our virtual event.

When you arrive (6:45-7:00 Online):

• Log on to the Google meet with the link that we will send in an event reminder email with further instructions. Consider joining a bit early to check your video and audio connection.
• While you are waiting for the event to start, complete our the preferred contact information your host will send out at the start of the evening so participants can reach out to you after the event. Also, join our private Whou.know facebook group just for event participants and WhoU clients. We will send you the link.
• We will formally begin the online mixer at 7:00

Event schedule:(7:00-8:30 or 9:00 depending on size of group)

• Introduction (Elizabeth Marshall ~ CEO of WhoU)
• Speed-dating rounds (5-7 minutes depending on size of the event) with participants in private Google Meet breakout rooms. You will be given a countdown clock at the end of each speed-dating round that will let you know that it is time to say farwell and get ready to be automatically moved to a new breakout room.
• If numbers are not perfectly balanced due to a participant no-show, there may be a speed- dating round where you return to the main room and have the opportunity for a break.
• There will be a raffle at the end of the event for a ticket to our next online event.

• What's included: Event registration, access to the private WhoU.know Facebook community page where you can follow up and message new friends and potential romantic connections and automatic entry into our event raffle.

* Look for an email from us: We will email you a reminder and event information as the event approaches.Check your spam box if you don't see an email from us a few days before.

*Refunds: We offer refunds if the event is canceled (minus eventbrite fees). We will inform participants by email the day before the event if cancellation is necessary.

*Notes about ticket pricing and registration: Early registration helps us to plan and know that we have enough and a balanced group of participants, send you updates and helpful information.
