Join us for YNY's first virtual exhibition of 100s of aspirational self-portraits inside the virtual courtyard of Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) PS1. This youth-led virtual exhibition will be an interactive audio-visual experience that allows guests to engage with our young people’s creativity and self expression.

This exhibition will showcase over 300 collaged self-portraits created by participants in YNY's Restorative Arts Diversion Programs. Similar to Google Maps one will be able to “walk” through PS1 courtyards and experience the young people’s evocative self-portraits, and hear their stories of being arrested and caught in the system.
We will launch the exhibition via Zoom with the graduates offering a tour of the experience. After the tour of the space there will be time for guests to ask questions of the YNY graduates.
Many thanks to our partners at SHoP Architects for making this virtual exhibition a reality.
This project is possible because of Young New Yorkers participation in District Attorney New York's Project Reset. Project Reset is an arrest diversion initiative which allows young people to swiftly exit the system and avoid court and a criminal record.
** This exhibition will be recorded and the recording will be used for YNY's promotional use.
