Did you know that Oregon’s state animal has made a home in Gresham? Beavers thrive throughout the open waters of Johnson Creek, felling trees, building dams, constructing habitat, and impacting our water quality, all for the better! Join Katie Holzer, Mike Wallace, and Lilah Gonen (City of Gresham) to learn more about how these industrious rodents have engineered our city’s waterways, and what we can do to make sure they stick around and keep contributing to our natural areas.
