Join the Mojave Desert Land Trust and The Wildlands Conservancy for a FREE guided hike at the beautiful Whitewater Preserve on Saturday, June 8th from 8:30am-1:00pm! A bus will provide free return transportation from Jacobs Park in Yucca Valley to Whitewater Preserve and snacks will be provided. The bus leaves Jacobs Park (55680 Onaga Trail, Yucca Valley, 92284) at 8.30am and returns at 1pm. RSVP to save your seat.

Whitewater Preserve is a nature preserve owned and managed by the Wildlands Conservancy within Sand to Snow National Monument. Learn about the perennial river, striking geology, and special native plants and animals found here. Understand more about the critical role water plays in the desert.

After the short, guided hike, participants will have time to explore on their own. This community activity is open to people of all ages. Spanish translation will be available.
