After discovering that America's sweetheart, Judy Garland, was in a minstrel show two years before starring in The Wizard of Oz, Kristin was engendered with a new Black lady anger. "White Time” is her gift receipt to the Jim Crow era and to past &amp; present pop culture. It’s the right time for "White Time": an hour of Whiteface Minstrel, Stand-up, &amp; Sketches. *Butterfly meme* Is this reparations?Born in Washington, DC, Kristin Lynne Wallace is a Scooby-Doo purist (anti Scrappy Doo) that loves shucking oysters on the beach and making politically charged jokes about her experience as a Black woman in America. Kristin began performing professionally while living in New Orleans; first as a rapper in a group called Chilldren, then eventually solo as a standup comic. Now based in East Los Angeles, Kristin writes for a children's television show while practicing catharsis through clowning and standup. Healing for her, funny for you.Doors at 7 PM, Show at 7:30 PMWe start shows no later than 10 MINUTES after the scheduled show time. We will aim to start the show exactly on time.COVID-19 POLICY : Please be aware of the following COVID-19 safety protocols, including a proof of vaccination requirement. Note that guidelines are subject to change as local, state, or federal guidance may evolve prior to the event.<ul><li>All guests must be fully vaccinated (two weeks post-second dose for Moderna or Pfizer, or two weeks after the single Johnson &amp; Johnson dose).</li><li>You will be required to show proof of vaccination at event check-in. Guests without the required proof of vaccination will not be permitted at the event.</li><li>Acceptable forms of proof include: your physical vaccination card, an app that shows your vaccination status, or a picture of your vaccination card.</li><li>Please bring photo ID matching the name on your proof of vaccination.</li><li>Masks are not required but guests are encouraged to wear a mask when indoors, unless actively eating or drinking. </li><li>If you or anyone within your group has or is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we ask you to please stay home to ensure the health and safety of our attendees and staff.</li></ul>

White Time is produced by The Elysian Theater. It was developed in 2022 for The Elysian&#x27;s first annual Forget About Spaghetti Festival where it had a sold-out premier.
