The Historical Archives of the National Bank of Greece and APE present the digitisation project of the "White Anthrax" archival unit.

As part of the annual celebration of International Archives Day, and following the completion of the digitisation and enrichment project documenting the archival unit of “White Anthrax”—a project that received recognition in 2024 from Archives Portal Europe (APE)—the Historical Archives of the National Bank of Greece, in collaboration with APE, is organising a hybrid event. The event will present the project itself as well as research efforts to highlight the dynamic nature of the material for documenting the history of energy in Greece. The archival unit “White Anthrax” of the Historical Archives / National Bank of Greece is now accessible through the APE digital platform.The event will take place at the Historial Archives of the National Bank of Greece and will also be streamed live. The event will be in Greek. Στο πλαίσιο του ετήσιου εορτασμού της Διεθνούς Ημέρας Αρχείων, και με αφορμή την ολοκλήρωση του έργου ψηφιοποίησης και τεκμηρίωσης της αρχειακής ενότητας «Λευκός Άνθρακας» — έργο που έλαβε διάκριση το 2024 από το Archives Portal Europe (APE) — τα Ιστορικά Αρχεία της Εθνικής Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος, σε συνεργασία με το APE, διοργανώνουν υβριδική εκδήλωση.Η εκδήλωση θα παρουσιάσει το ίδιο το έργο, καθώς και ερευνητικές προσεγγίσεις που αναδεικνύουν τη δυναμική του υλικού για την τεκμηρίωση της ιστορίας της ενέργειας στην Ελλάδα. Η αρχειακή ενότητα «Λευκός Άνθρακας» των Ιστορικών Αρχείων της Εθνικής Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος είναι πλέον προσβάσιμη μέσω της ψηφιακής πλατφόρμας του APE.Η εκδήλωση θα πραγματοποιηθεί στα Ιστορικά Αρχεία της Εθνικής Τράπεζας της Ελλάδος και θα μεταδοθεί και διαδικτυακά. Η γλώσσα της εκδήλωσης θα είναι η ελληνική.
