This exclusive, intimate event expertly blends our premium whiskey and cocktails with captivating close-up magic, creating an unforgettable evening of immersive entertainment.


The Experience:

  • A Guided Whiskey Tasting: Our expert magician & bartender will introduce you to the Standard Proof brand and lead you through a curated selection of our premium whiskeys, exploring their unique flavors, aromas, and origin - all while infusing magic along the way. You’ll simultaneously learn how to taste and appreciate our unique spirits while having your mind blown!
  • A Close-Up Magic Show: After the introductory tasting, you’ll receive a round of cocktails followed by a remarkable show tailor-made to engage you with magic that happens right in front of your eyes and under your nose. You’ll become a part of the magic in a very unique, hands-on way. (You'll also get another round of cocktails included in the ticket price!)
  • Interactive & Immersive: This isn't your typical stuffy tasting! Be prepared to participate, have fun, and be amazed by both the magic and whiskey unfolding right before your eyes.

What's Included?

You receive a guided whiskey tasting flight, 2 cocktails, and a close-up magic show included in the ticket price.

What if I don't like whiskey?

No problem! Our whiskey is made to be enjoyed by both whiskey lovers and non-whiskey lovers. Think of it as the gateway to whiskey. And if straight whiskey is not your jam, our cocktails are tailor made to appeal to almost any palate.

How long does the experience last?

Our Whiskey & Wonders Experience is about 1:30 minutes long. *Time length may vary slightly depending on guest count and audience interaction.

What type of magic show is this?

Joe performs close-up magic utilizing a range of things from cards, to coins, to your mind. This show is very hands-on and encourages participation in the magic

What is the size of this experience?

The Experience is intimate and seats 8 people. It is recommended to purchase tickets for you and your group all at once. If the experience sells out before all your tickets can be purchased, please email joew@fourbluepalms.com to see if we are able to accommodate.

Can I request a private experience for my group?

Yes! While all of the experience times are open for the general public to purchase tickets, you may email us at joew@fourbluepalms.com to request a private experience for your group. *These requests are granted based on availability, head count, and timing.

Where can I park?

Paid parking can be found directly on Rainey Street or in the Skyhouse garage directly behind Standard Proof. However, we highly encourage taking an Uber or Lyft as alcohol consumption is involved. Please drink responsibly.

Are refunds available?

Due to the preparation involved for the performer and tasting room, refunds are considered on a case by case basis. We are happy to reschedule your tickets to a different date if necessary.

Our Whiskey Tasting & Cocktail Making class is a fun, interactive, and immersive experience that's perfect for your next group outing or just for a fun night out. The 1 hour experience begins with a background of what exactly whiskey is and who we are as a brand. You'll then be presented with a flight of all our infused whiskeys and our expert instructor will guide you through them, give tasting notes and cocktail ideas, and answer any questions you may have. During the tasting, we will pair a few of our specialty cocktails to show you exactly what our whiskeys are capable of.
