Join us at Standard Proof Whiskey Co for an evening of guided exploration through our world of whiskey. Our expert instructor will lead you on a tasting journey of our infused, premium whiskey uncovering the unique characteristics of each. You'll learn about:


  • The Standard Proof brand and whiskey in general: We distill and infuse our whiskey with various natural ingredients such as Texas Pecans, Fresh Ginger, and Ceylon Cinnamon to create an incredibly smooth 80 proof spirit.


  • Tasting techniques: Learn to identify the subtle flavors and aromas that define each whiskey.


  • How to make incredible cocktails: Throughout the tasting, your instructor will demonstrate how to make two amazing styles of cocktails, with all the tips and tricks of a seasoned bartender.

After the first portion of the class, you'll be fully equipped to craft your own signature cocktail. You’ll get hands-on behind the bar, guided by our mixologist, as you:

How much whiskey can I expect with each ticket purchase?

Each ticket comes with a half oz. pour of all 7 of our craft whiskeys, a few samples of craft cocktails, and creation of your very own specialty cocktail! *We highly encourage taking a ride share app. Please drink responsibly.

I don’t see a class time or date that works for me, what can I do?

Our Whiskey Tasting & Cocktail Making class is a fun, interactive, and immersive experience that's perfect for your next group outing or just for a fun night out. The 1 hour experience begins with a background of what exactly whiskey is and who we are as a brand. You'll then be presented with a flight of all our infused whiskeys and our expert instructor will guide you through them, give tasting notes and cocktail ideas, and answer any questions you may have. During the tasting, we will pair a few of our specialty cocktails to show you exactly what our whiskeys are capable of.
