About this event

The experience begins with a brief history of our brand, Standard Proof Whiskey Co, and whiskey in general. Then you’ll be presented with a flight of our different whiskeys and infusions which will be paired with a few of our specialty craft cocktails. Finally – the BEST part – you’ll get hands on behind the bar where we’ll teach you how to shake up your own cocktail with all the flair of a seasoned bartender! Our experienced team will walk you through the process and have you shaking and stirring in no time! Lastly, leave with a bottle of your favorite whiskey and a wearable!

Our classes are great for anyone who has been wanting to learn more about whiskey, learn how to make cocktails, or groups that just want to get out and try something unique and exciting. Make Standard Proof Whiskey Co your next event destination!

How much whiskey can I expect with each ticket purchase?

Each ticket comes with a half oz. pour of all 7 of our craft whiskeys, along with a few whiskey based cocktails. Due to the volume of alcohol consumed, we strongly suggest eating prior to arrival. *Our teachers do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone they feel is over intoxicated*

I don’t see a class time or date that works for me, what can I do?

The 1 hour experience begins with a background of what exactly whiskey is and who we are as a brand. You'll then be presented with a flight of all our infused whiskeys and our expert instructor will guide you through them, give tasting notes and cocktail ideas, and answer any questions you may have. During the tasting, we will pair a few of our specialty cocktails to show you exactly what our whiskeys are capable of. Finally, you'll get hands on behind the bar to make your very own cocktail with all the knowledge you've gained! -- We will walk you through the whole process and have you shaking and stirring like a pro in no time!
