Location: YourSpace, Sutton

Cost: £12 per child (includes all ingredients and materials)

Description:
As part of YourSpace’s annual program teaching young people creative and entrepreneurial skills, Whippersnapper Cooker-Upper brings a tasty twist for budding chefs! Run by The Green Nut Community, this hands-on workshop is perfect for kids who love baking—or want to learn.

In the cooking session, children will:

  • Follow a simple, guided recipe for savory parcels
  • Create their own filling, measure, mix, knead, roll, and bake
  • Decorate and present their parcels
  • Learn safe kitchen skills, including using a knife and rolling pin

Then, in the mini-business session, they’ll:

  • Name and package their creations
  • Decide on pricing and create a mini selling strategy
  • Set up to sell and keep the profit—or enjoy eating their baked goods!

Ages: 9–18 (must be confident using a knife and rolling pin)

Whether your child wants to experiment with flavors, learn baking skills, or test their entrepreneurial flair, this workshop combines fun, creativity, and hands-on learning.

Bring: Enthusiasm and appetite!
