Whip Appeal - A Black Kink Party is coming to The Town, Folsom Street Fair weekend! A safer space for Black kinksters to connect, throw ass, and enjoy ourselves before perhaps attending Folsom Street Fair the following day. We deserve a space to get free independent of the oftentimes unwelcoming and fetishistic gaze of Folsom Street Fair. So step out in your cutest kink gear, bring your friends, lovers, and QTs and bbs!

• Demos: Are you a Black or Brown domme that would like to steward our play space?! We'd love to have you! #PAIDOpportunity!
• Vendors: We still have space for 2-3 vendors
• Volunteers: 5ish volunteers for the evening would be great! Primary role is stewarding our space, so some familiarity with kink/protocols would be AMAZING.

ACCESSIBILITY INFO:

There are no stairs in the venue. Venue is wheelchair accessible. There are no visual/auditory tech accommodations, however, for the floor performance, folks who need front row access will happily be accommodated. Masks are encouraged!

FAQs:

Is this a Black only party? Queer only party?

This space is curated and created for Black folks. And, we'll be at a public venue. Care has been taken to create a Black/Brown/POC only space. While Black Queer folks are highly centered, non-queer folks are also welcome. Just be respectful.

Is this a sex party?

NO. There will be fetish/kink equipment to play on, but NO SEX IN THE CHAMPAGNE ROOM.

What does it mean to "play"?

Playing in BDSM looks like a lot of things. You may see folks getting spanked/flogged/paddled etc. There will be a section of the bar that is separate for aftercare and decompression.

Can non-Black people attend?

Yes, non-Black folks are welcome. Part of the production team is Filipino [long time accomplice] & they will also be DJing. If non-Black people want to roll thru, we'd love to have them. Mindfulness is everything. Folks who make people feel unsafe will be asked to leave.

Will tickets be sold at the door?

Yep! Cheaper online, and, no one will be turned away for lack of funds!

What do I wear?

Whatever you want to bb! Fetish gear highly encouraged, but wear what floats your boat.

What about COVID stuff?

Masks encouraged. Cases are rising again and keeping each other well is a priority. Please stay home if you gotta sniffle!
