Expect Respect, serving the Austin area since 1989, works to promote healthy relationships and prevent violence and abuse among children and teens. We provide innovative, research-based programs and trainings and collaborate with schools, health-care, law enforcement, and other youth-serving organizations to create a safer environment for all young people.

Live  interactive workshop exploring teen relationships

February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness &amp; Prevention Month! This workshop is a space for teens to talk about relationships with one another. Join us to watch the story of Eli and Maya unfold as they navigate the stressful transition from senior year to college, both wondering: Will our relationship survive? We&#x27;ll explore their relationship to learn more about loving &amp; hurtful relationships, boundaries, and how to support friends in abusive relationships. The workshop is interactive, including dynamic digital storytelling, collaborative activities, and facilitated conversation. This workshop will take place over Zoom. We will give away raffle prizes to our audience members, including $25 Target gift cards, Expect Respect hoodies, t-shirts, and stickers!
