Overview

Teachers, if you are experiencing exhaustion, but sleep does not bring the relief you desire, this exhaustion workshop is for you!

Join us Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. CST/ 11:00 a.m. EST - for When Rest Isn’t Enough: The 5 Types of Exhaustion Teachers Experience and What to Do Next.

You slept… but you still feel drained.

You rested… but Monday still hits like a wave.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Why am I still exhausted?” this workshop is for you.

When Rest Isn’t Enough is a supportive, teacher-centered session that helps you understand why exhaustion in teaching isn’t always fixed by a weekend off or an early bedtime. Many teachers are carrying more than physical fatigue—they’re dealing with mental overload, emotional depletion, social overwhelm, and a loss of inner peace.

This workshop continues our Burnout series with a deeper focus on the first burnout dimension: exhaustion.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The 5 types of exhaustion: physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual
  • How each type shows up in real teacher life (and why it’s often misunderstood)
  • Why “just rest” doesn’t always work—and what does help
  • Simple, realistic strategies to begin recovering your energy

This Workshop Is For You If…

  • You go to bed early or sleep in on weekends, but you still wake up feeling like you didn’t recover.
  • You reread the same email three times, lose your train of thought mid-lesson, or feel emotionally “flat” while teaching.
  • Lesson planning takes longer because you can’t focus and keep second-guessing yourself.
  • By the end of the day, you don’t want to talk to anyone—not your students, not your coworkers, not even your family—because you’re completely “peopled out.”
  • You care about your students and your job, but you’re getting through the day on caffeine, adrenaline, and sheer willpower.
  • You’re not looking for more to add to your plate—you want realistic, practical support that actually fits a teacher’s schedule.
