About this event

  • 1 hour

JSTOR’s always been about using technology to help libraries make their collections digital, preserve them, and support their use. As a nonprofit, we work to do this affordably and sustainably. How can generative AI help us in these efforts? Can generative AI accelerate our progress in critical areas: making more content accessible to more people, preserving at-risk materials, and enabling students and faculty to use library collections more productively? What new complexities does it introduce? We’re working in partnership with the community to find the answers. Join us for a lunchtime discussion to learn more about our experiments to find safe, effective, affordable uses of generative AI for libraries.
