What’s in a Salad?

“What’s in Salad?” is a participatory programme that explores our relationship with vegetables, fruits and anything that goes into the mixed bowl of greens. Participants are encouraged to bring one to two vegan/vegetarian food items and/or dressing that will go into a communal salad, each item serving as a vessel for personal stories. During the programme, participants will come together to discuss, negotiate and decide how to prepare their ingredients, the quantity to include, and share how the salad represents their personal and collaborative process.

What to bring:

· One to two food vegan/ vegetarian items or dressing that you’ll like in your own salad (optional)

· Preparation tools (optional)

· Your favourite cutlery and utensils

Note: Please provide allergen information for your contributions.

This programme is organised as part of The Big Lunch, UK’s annual get-together for neighbours and communities, with millions of people coming together for a few hours of friendship, food and fun. More on https://www.edenprojectcommunities.com/the-big-lunch
