About this event
Students will easily learn the basics of cupping therapy including techniques for specific orthopedic conditions, super powers of different cups, choosing the right cup for the job, the science behind cupping and injury, documentation, safety and much, much, more!

Nope! A smorgasbord of all different kinds of silicone cups will be provided for therapist to try out and use during class!
Definitely! There will be many different cupping sets, t-shirts and cupping posters available for purchase during and after class! We recommend practicing with all the cups first, that way you can see which cups really work well for your practice and style before you buy.
Yes! There is a designated parking lot conveniently located for therapists to park in.
Yes!! Therapists that want to register for both classes should click on and register under the ‘What the Cup Weekend - Seattle’ tab. Registering under this tab will automatically apply the discounted fee for both courses.
Yes please! The facility does not supply massage tables so for those therapists that are local and are able to bring your own tables, please do so!
Complete disrobing is not required for lab, however we will need adequate access to arms, legs, backs, etc. so please wear loose fitting clothes, sports bra, short-shorts, biker shorts, basketball shorts, tank tops, etc. that allow your fellow classmates adequate exposure to these parts.
Please bring one set of massage table sheets, a towel to manage excess lubrication when handling cups, and your preference of lotions, creams, or oils for use in lab.
This course is worth 8 CEUS.
Yes! Even if you’ve taken other cupping courses What the Cup 1 is still required before therapists can take any of the other courses in the What the Cup family. What the Cup is taught from an orthopedic perspective and WTC 1 serves as a foundational course of which the other courses are built upon.
What the Cup courses satisfy the criteria and are approved by the NCBTMB. Most courses approved by the NCBTMB are approved by local state boards however it is highly recommended that you check with your state board to ensure approval before registering for this course.
