About this event

  • 1 hour

Join us online to learn more about the experiences and challenges faced by veterans in today's world. Whether you're a veteran yourself, or work with Veterans, we would love to learn from you. This will be the 2nd conversation in a series designed to help us collectively understand the landscape of issues impacting Veterans and Servicemembers in the current era. The goal is to generate relevant themes and questions to better equip those reaching out to, or serving Veterans and Military Communities post 9/11, or those seeking to better understand the experiences of these communities in the broader social world.

Guiding Question: How do we engage Veterans in 2024?

  • Who are Veterans and servicemembers in the post 9/11 era?
  • What matters most to Veterans today?
  • How can we better understand the issues of women or BIPOC Veterans?
  • What kinds of challenges do Veterans face?
  • Mental/physical health ?
  • Access to resources (education, employment, legal support, etc)?
