In this epic episode, hosts Strawberry Gelato and Gen Da Playboi invite aliens and earthlings alike to get mad about our lives in a Cirque du Fools. We’re blowing up balloons and blowing off steam with an extra special featured guest Jyreika Guest!

For this show, we actually have a couple of community partners we want to spotlight! First, we would love to introduce the Youth Empowerment Performance Project (YEPP). YEPP is a Non Profit organization that provides a space and resources to LGBTQI experiencing homelessness. Through their programs, they have been able to provide ongoing support that teaches these students to transform their trauma into art. We are also spotlighting Pushing the Envelope Chicago, a local organization rooted in prison abolition and liberation for all through direct actions. By developing community through PenPal communication, providing legal aid to incarcerated folks and providing re-entry support like gender affirming care, transportation and housing. Come thru to NBD to learn more about these incredible groups and how you can help support them!

We’ll cover topics like: times we’ve been clowns, times clowns have taken over, how artists can clown the government, and how anyone can paint themselves as an oppressor. We’ll answer questions like: How do we present our authentic selves under pressure?; What does taking the paint off look like?; How would aliens deal with the foolishness of Earth?

This episode features musical performances from Strawberry Gelato and drag performances from Gen Da Playboi. Come through for good vibes, great resources, sickening performances, and the chance to win a cute gay prize!

Reserve your spot in advance! Tickets have three tiers: $5, $10, and a suggested donation of $15. All proceeds go towards paying the artists and crew who make the show happen. If you need free tickets, we want you there! Just DM us on IG (@MadLiberationShow) or email us at MadLiberationShow@gmail.com
