What Global Skills Look Like in the Workforce (and Why Recruiters Care)
Overview
When people hear “global skills,” they often think about studying abroad or speaking another language. While those can be global skills, employers define them much more broadly. Global skills are the everyday soft skills that help you work effectively with anyone, anywhere: collaboration, communication, adaptability, problem-solving, and navigating differences across backgrounds, teams, and cultures.
In this session, you’ll get direct access to a recruiter who will explain why these skills are some of the most in-demand across industries — and how they show up in real hiring decisions.
This is a hands-on workshop, not a lecture. You’ll actively identify your own global skills live and learn how to translate them into strong, memorable language you can use on your resume, LinkedIn, and in interviews.
You’ll leave with:
➜ Your personalized list of global skills (built during the session)
➜ Polished language ready to plug into applications immediately
➜ A reusable resource to help you continue building after the session
➜ And a surprise recruiter freebie, exclusively for attendees
We’ll be offering complimentary headshots to students who participate in the session. It's recommended that you bring business casual attire (at least from the waist up!) if you’d like to take part.
