Welcome to the inaugural West Rehoboth Juneteenth Celebration!
Join us in historic West Rehoboth for a day filled with music, food, community, and fun as we commemorate the end of slavery in the United States and honor the Black history of Rehoboth Beach.
This is a community-wide event taking place at (3) locations in West Rehoboth.
- West Side Creative Market - will have (21) local Black, Brown, and African American businesses on display for you to shop! DJ Blackout will bring the tunes and various entertainment throughout the evening. Changing Mains food truck will be on site!
- West Rehoboth Legacy Mural - located on the corner of Malloy and Center St. just down the street from Creative Market, you can learn about the rich history of the community and surrounding areas. Coco Mangos Food Truck will be on site along with DJ September, a young lady from the community, bringing the tunes!
- West Side New Beginnings, Inc - Just another short walk from the mural is West Side New Beginnings Inc—children & Youth Program, where you can enjoy more food, vendors, and entertainment.

Parking is available along Church St. to access West Side Creative Market, and in the Grand Rental/ Quillens parking lot to access West Side New Beginning, Inc. This is a free community-wide free celebration open to all! Don't miss out on this chance to celebrate and honor the significance of Juneteenth with us in the historic Black community of West Rehoboth.

Yes! We ask that you only bring dogs that are safe to have around crowds of people. There will be children's activities going on during the event.

If there is rain or a chance of storms, we will still have the event. The event will be canceled if there is lightning or a call for severe weather. There is no rain date for the event.
