The Board of Directors of West Central Georgia Community Action Council is honored to serve this 58 year old organization that has provided much needed services and initiatives that support households and improve the living conditions of low-income families and community members within the footprint of our service area of Crisp, Dooly, Macon, Marion, Schley, Sumter, Taylor, Webster, Chattahoochee, Stewart, Talbot (Weatherization Only).

We are committed to the agency’s mission of eradicating poverty and our dedication to this mission is unwavering, not without its share of challenges of course. As we look ahead to the future, we are excited about the possibilities and challenges ahead. To fulfill our mission and to make impactful, sustainable, and measurable change we depend on the generosity of individuals, families, and organizations that recognize the need and share our passion for servant/leadership.

With that being said, we are launching a fundraising campaign that we have tagged as “$50k in 50 Days Charitable Campaign” to support our ongoing initiatives and to launch new ones. 100% of the contributions we receive will be directed toward:


  • Addressing barriers such as access to quality education, healthcare, and housing
  • Working towards creating a society where social and economic justice
  • Assisting withe securing meaningful employment and career training
  • Health and social/behavioral development including nutrition, access to healthy food
  • Income, infrastructure building ie., financial literacy, credit restoration and maintenance
  • Agency capacity building
  • Civic and community involvement
  • and more!

Your participation a is not an exception, but the norm. We understand that the well-being of individuals is intricately linked to the health of their communities. Therefore, our policy goals include fostering community development projects that build vibrant, sustainable, and supportive environments conducive to lifting Georgians out of poverty. Your participation in this campaign can make a substantial difference in the lives of those we touch and serve.

We kindly request your consideration of financial contribution to this campaign. Your tax deductible support, no matter the amount, plays a pivotal role in the success of our organization, but more importantly, in the success of our most fragile and deserving, the poor. It is your investment in our mission that will keep us moving forward and inspires us to reach higher goals, deeper depths, to assist more and to achieve more.
