Complete Care Coordination is pleased to announce our new ongoing NDIS Social event which is to be held monthly to NDIS participants within the Shepparton / Goulburn Valley region.
Our first themed event will be Alice - we're all mad here!, which will comprise of reading, watching or listening to and analysing Alice in Wonderland with focus on the many mental health references which are frequently portrayed throughout the book and movie by Lewis Carrol.
Each month we will read a chapter and meet by the Shepparton Lake to meet up and have a chat about the mental health references, personal interpretations or favourite quotes mentioned in each chapter we are focussing on, whilst creating artworks using paints & canvases supplied by Complete Care Coordination. Upon signing up you will have a PDF version of the classic novel emailed to you for download and to begin reading. There is a $5 monthly event fee, please note this is to help us purchase the supplies needed for the artwork as well as provide refreshments. The organisers will not receive any payment for hosting the event.
This event is open to all NDIS participants, including those who are not currently Complete Care clients. There is no requirement to join our services, this event has been created for making new friendships in the Goulburn Valley Region and socialising after the many lockdowns in which we have been part of during the COVID periods, information on support coordination by Complete Care Coordination is available for those interested.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions our date and time is yet to be confirmed, this will be announced once our lockdown is over and safe to meet up once more. There will be limited numbers for the events so registration will be required.
