About this event

Spend an afternoon connecting with nature through mindfulness and ecotherapy practices.

Spending time in nature is so beneficial for our physical and mental wellbeing and allowing a deeper connection only enhances this therapeutic benefit.

In our time together we will be creating that space for a deeper connection through meditation, mindfulness and therapeutic activities that help us pause in nature.

We will spend the whole session outdoors to maximise our time with nature and the Godmanchester Nature Reserve is a beautiful space to relax in.

At the end of the session, you will feel relaxed, connected and present.

As we are at Godmanchester Nature Reserve, 20% of all ticket sales will be donated to the Wildlife Trust to help look after this wonderful space.


What to expect...

We'll be coming to a pause in nature. Allowing ourselves to relax, feel refreshed and connect with the natural world. You don't need to have any experience of meditation or mindfulness or be 'creative' to enjoy this session. It is an opportunity to be in nature and feel the wellbeing benefits of doing so.

There is no expectation to share anything personal and this isn't intended as a group therapy session. It's more of a chance for you to relax and reconnect with the natural world using mindfulness and ecotherapy practices.


About your host...

Hello! I'm Rebecca Fensome and I am an integrative counsellor, meditation teacher and sound therapist. I use nature in my practices to support you to engage with the therapeutic benefits of the natural world. I have a down to earth and holistic approach to wellbeing.


What should I bring...

It would be great to bring something to sit on - either a blanket or chair.

We will be outdoors for the whole session so wear appropriate clothing.

There will be a chance for a cuppa and biscuit at the end so if you can bring a reusable cup.


What if it rains?

We will be outdoors for the whole session so if the weather is awful I will cancel and be in touch. If I need to cancel I will refund you (minus the eventbrite booking fee).


What if I need to cancel?

If you book and can no longer come please let me know asap. If you cancel within 48 hours of the session I cannot refund you but you can offer your space to someone else. If you cancel before 48 hours I will refund you minus the eventbrite booking fee.
