About this eventCalling all community members who want to make change!W﻿hen: Sunday April 16, 2023 9AM-6PMW﻿here: Trinity Innovation Center 1 Constitution Plaza, 3rd Floor Hartford, CT 06103You could be a student, a young professional, a healthcare worker, a frontline worker, first responder, community advocate, an innovator as long as you want to make a difference!Join us in solving the important challenge of burnout prevention for first responders and frontline workers.“According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), burnout is defined as having feelings of extreme exhaustion and being overwhelmed.”Through numerous studies accumulated by the National Library of Medicine the strong impact of the COVID-19 pandemic situation on frontline workers, including first responders, identified as one of the highest-risk groups in terms of negative physical and mental health impacts since the beginning of the pandemic.Despite these challenges, these heroes continued their best to serve their communities 24/7.This disproportionate burden has led us to strive for better health for these individuals both mentally and physically. This is where you come in!We are calling on members of the community to come together for a fun mini hackathon of working together to develop strategies and solutions on how to raise awareness on the burnout of frontline workers and first responders. The goal is to introduce new solutions and ways of thinking and then create tangible plans for next steps.Use your knowledge and skills to make a difference today.By the end of the Hackathon, our judges will select three finalist teams, each team will receive cash prizes.There’s more! Here&#x27;s what else you get out of this mini hackathon:Opportunity to impact your local heroes on the front lines and first responders.Opportunity to work at Trinity Innovation CenterMeet like minded people and build lasting relationshipsEndless coffee, soda, and snacksHere are a few event guidelines:Register individually or as a group - the event is free for all. Ensure that you, or a representative for your idea, are able to attend the entire Hackathon before registering.Come to the Hackathon with ideas in mind.
