Welcoming Table

The Immigrant Welcome Center “connects” immigrants to a wide range of community services, including schools, jobs, legal services and faith communities.  With contributions like yours, we can continue to provide quality programs for the people that we serve.The Hospitality Administration Department at Ivy Tech provides students in Central Indiana with the opportunity to master the skills needed to be successful in a growing workforce serving our hotels and restaurants.

Immigrant Welcome Center and Ivy Tech Community College-- Central Indiana

Welcoming Table is a food festival celebrating international inclusion, designed to raise awareness of the contributions made by foreign-born chefs to Indy’s local food scene. The event will feature these chefs offering global street food in a family-friendly, casual setting. In addition to hearing chefs tell stories about their culinary adventures, guests will enjoy cash bars offering wine and beer $5 a drink and music from DJ Kyle Long.
The event will raise funds for two organizations: Ivy Tech’s Hospitality programs and the work of the Immigrant Welcome Center.
