About this event

Alchemizme's Somatic practicitioner and Spiral Energy Alchemist, Colleen, will spend every Monday offering you a safe place to learn and practice. Every other Monday you can learn Somatic techniques to help release trauma stored in your body and nervous system. The techniques can be practiced on your own to help regualte and retrain your nervous system and body's response to stimuli. Alternating Mondays offer an introduciton to the ancient wisdom of seashell spiral energy work. Learn about the 12 principles of healing with the shells' spiral energies. You will recieve a bonus of being activated with the Permission To Heal spiral energies to use and practice with on yourself at home.


This is a body positive, LGBTQIA+ friendly non-judgemental safe place open to all. Please bring cash and pay what you can.

Colleen is a small business owner offering massage, energy work, reflexology and somatic sessions. She is dedicated to her healing journey and loves to empower others to take their healing into their own hands.

All in-person services and classes are offered at Na Holistic Wellness in Indedepence Mall on Concord Pike in Wilmington DE. The suite is located above Takumi.

What does somatic mean?

Simply put, somatic is "of the body". Talk and behavior therapy is a crucial and somatic therapy can assist your progress. With a focus on how your body stores trauma and how your nervous system responds and regulates you can reduce stress and release trauma.

Will this help me if I have not had traumatic events in my life?

Yes, this will help everyone. Trauma can be how we experience events and our surroundings. It can be an injury, an accident, a breakup or simply how we learned to respond to our environment. It can even be passed down from one generation to another.

What can I expect to learn?

You will be taught a general understanding of somatic work and how it can help you. You will learn techniques you can do yourself. You will be encouraged to practice techniques so you can retrain your nervous system. You will learn what your own nervous system feels like when safe.

What are examples of the techniques I will learn?

You will learn some breath exercises, vagal toning, movement and mindfulness techniques.
