Friday Nov 1, 8am Live Surgical Workshop
· The workshop will demonstrate STAC for proximal repairs and a new variation of it, the STAC-TIP, for distal hypospadias with ventral curvature greater than 30 degrees.
· The morning will begin with a presentation “Straightening Curvature is the Foundation for a Successful Repair,” followed by brief descriptions of STAC and its variations before moving into the operating room.
· Presentations after surgery will include “HBOT Should Be Part of Your Surgical Practice” and “Making a Surgical Team.”
Saturday Nov 2, 8am Hypospadias Festschrift
· The Festschrift will feature presentations by an international faculty plus
a roundtable by hypospadias parents discussing “What We Want”
Morning Session: Distal Hypospadias
· After 30 years of TIP, “Do We Need to Analyze the Urethral Plate” and “Has TIP Withstood the Test of Time?”
· Examining outcomes and expectations, “Are Results of Distal Repairs as Good as We Think?”, “Mistakes We Make Cause Most of the Complications We See!” and “What Should Be the Standard for Surgeons Repairing Distal Hypospadias?”
Afternoon Session: Proximal Hypospadias
· Presentations will discuss Flaps vs Grafts and 2-stage vs 3-stage repair

· Surgeon panel, “Personal Quality Review Made Me a Better Surgeon”
