About this event

  • 3 hours

Join us at the Global Village Welcome Center in Indianapolis for "Welcome Corps on the Road: Welcoming Communities in the Hoosier Heartland." Experience a celebration of Indiana's global culture and community in a night of international food, guided gallery tours of Indy's global cultures, guest speakers, and storytelling by local refugees.

Welcome Corps is a United States Department of State program that enables Americans to privately sponsor and welcome refugees. Several Indiana families have already taken the first step forward to welcome refugees, and you can too.

Together, we can show the world what we mean by "Hoosier Hospitality."

This event is co-hosted by Welcome Corps, Patchwork Indy and the International Marketplace Coalition. Welcome Corps on the Road is a part of the Welcome Corps Roadshow - a series of visits across the country to showcase the power of communities in welcoming refugees.

Organized by

The Welcome Corps is a program of the U.S. Department of State, administered by a consortium led by the Community Sponsorship Hub with funding provided by the U.S. government.
