About this event

Do you remember …

  • Watching the O.J. Simpson Trial of the Century?
  • Seeing the infamous Bronco chase?
  • Hearing the recordings of Nicole’s desperate 911 calls?

2024 marks the 30-year anniversary of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, a tragedy that thrust domestic violence into the national spotlight.

Join us on May 19th: Share Your Story. Be Inspired. Be Empowered.

West Hollywood Mayor John Erickson will kick off the program with City proclamations recognizing participating organizations. Jacquie Navratil, founder of LUXE PAW, will discuss the role beloved pets play in DV homes.

The event will also include a screening of the music video I Remember Nicole, a project sponsored by the City of West Hollywood's Women's Advisory Board. There will also be some surprise guest appearances.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the Silent Witness initiative, a display of lifesize silhouettes symbolizing people killed by domestic violence. Crafts will be available to create a personal tribute and keepsake.
