What is Toastmasters?

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. Headquartered in Englewood, Colorado, the organization's membership is approximately 280,000 in more than 14,700 clubs in 144 countries. Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped people from diverse backgrounds become more confident speakers, communicators, and leaders.

At our weekly meetings we use a proven formula that will help you be a more effective and confident speaker:

• 1 to 3 speakers will deliver a prepared project on a pre-selected topic from a formal educational program we call Pathways (learn more here: https://www.toastmasters.org/education and here: https://www.toastmasters.org/education/pathways)

• All members (and guests if they like) will participate in an impromptu speaking activity we call Table Topics

• A designated member will provide their assigned speaker with a formal speech evaluation using our unique feedback delivery system
