Working purely with line, this hard ground etching course is perfect for anyone who considers themselves a 'drawer'. It's a great way for those new to printmaking to reinterpret and elevate existing drawings. Participants are encouraged to explore the possibilities of line on copper.

This course is a full exploration of the process of etching from beginning to end so will cover plate preparation, drawing techniques, inking up, proofing and final print production using the Rochat etching press. This course focuses on working purely with line (no aquatint or spitbite).
