Testimonies

"It was an insightful session with so many learning points. The class was interactive and engaging with so many real life examples. I really really loved the team work in between the classes that helped us interact with each other and put what we have learnt to practice. This is great use of my money and it was worth it. I would recommend again and again to anyone I meet willing to take the CSM test or understand Scrum. Thank you Sasha. You are a great coach and you ensured you answered all the questions and the bonus topic with the simulation at the end was awesome!" Chidiebere Nwachukwu, August 12-13 CSM class

"Alexander made the class engaging and fun. He designs the class to be interactive with fellow learners using efficient tools such as breakout rooms, time box, collaborative tools and mini scrum. " Munjung Kim, August 14-16 CSM class

FAQ

What do I need to join the class?

You need a computer connected to a speaker, a microphone, and a video camera. Please have the latest version of Zoom and Google Chrome web browser installed. We recommend you avoid using a VPN connection; it will slow down your performance. We also recommend not calling in using tablets – it will be difficult to participate in the interactive exercises.

When will I get my CSM® certification?

The Scrum Alliance issues a CSM® certificate only upon passing an open book multiple choice written certification test. You will be provided with access to this test and two attempts to take it upon completion of this workshop. However, we recommend you take the test at least the next day after the workshop.

How to take a certification test?

Please watch the video at: https://youtu.be/v8RUQVf22G0

Can I Miss Several Hours of the Workshop and Still be Certified?

No. You must be actively participating for the whole duration of the workshop. If you miss more than 15 minutes of the workshop, you will not be eligible for certification, and you will be welcome to attend the rest of the workshop. Please contact the instructor to work out additional options to get certified.

Should I have my video camera on?

It is mandatory for all students to have their video cameras on during the whole duration of the class with the exception of breaks.

What do I need to bring to class?

You may also need some paper and a pen for making notes, a sheet of paper of A4 (297mm x 210mm) format and a sharpie.

What is unique about this class?

Besides the minimum materials required by the Scrum Alliance, this class includes 2 additional bonus topics. While they are not required for the certification, getting this extra knowledge will make you a better Scrum Master and make you more marketable.

Please contact me directly at frumkia@gmail.com if you have any additional questions.

Organized by

My name is Alexander Frumkin and I am a Scrumoholic. Being a developer since 1990, I had chance to learn about pitfalls of the waterfall hard way. I was lucky to learn about Agile Manifesto directly from Martin Fowler in 2007, and it was mind opening. I've been living and breathing Scrum since that moment. My Scrum journey included successful transitions from waterfall to agile that I led in organizations of different sizes from small to very large, delivering customer value faster with better quality. Currently, I work for Bank of the West as a Principal Agile Coach.

I am a Certified Team Coach with Scrum Alliance and working towards my credentials as a Certified Scrum Trainer.
