FAQ
• What do I need to join the class?
You need a computer connected to a speaker, a microphone, and a video camera. Please have the latest version of Zoom and Google Chrome web browser installed. We recommend you avoid using a VPN connection; it will slow down your performance. We also recommend not calling in using tablets – it will be difficult to participate in the interactive exercises.
• When will I get my CSM® certification?
The Scrum Alliance issues a CSM® certificate only upon passing an open book multiple choice written certification test. You will be provided with access to this test and two attempts to take it upon completion of this workshop. However, we recommend you take the test at least the next day after the workshop.
• How to take a certification test?
Please watch the video at: https://youtu.be/v8RUQVf22G0
• Can I Miss Several Hours of the Workshop and Still be Certified?
No. You must be actively participating for the whole duration of the workshop. If you miss more than 15 minutes of the workshop, you will not be eligible for certification, and you will be welcome to attend the rest of the workshop. Please contact the instructor to work out additional options to get certified.
• Should I have my video camera on?
It is mandatory for all students to have their video cameras on during the whole duration of the class with the exception of breaks.
• What do I need to bring to class?
You may also need some paper and a pen for making notes, a sheet of paper of A4 (297mm x 210mm) format and a sharpie.
• What is unique about this class?
Besides the minimum materials required by the Scrum Alliance, this class includes 2 additional bonus topics. While they are not required for the certification, getting this extra knowledge will make you a better Scrum Master and make you more marketable.
