Learn the basics and practice welding techniques in this one night MIG Welding Class!
This Class is intended for humans age 12-17. It is taught exactly the same as our regular Wednesday Night Welding Class.
Please sign up for the other class if you are not a kid or booking with your kid!
Note for Parents: You can purchase an additional ticket for yourself and take the class alongside your child or, your kid can take it solo! Please consider which option would be better suited (or more fun!) for your family (: Reach out if you have any questions!
THIS CLASS WILL COVER:
- The three components necessary for welding.
- The basic types of welding.
- Welding safety.
-Cutting and prepping steel.
-Fusing metal together.... Welding!
-Grinding and finishing.
We will first practice on scrap metal. Once you have the steps down we go through the process again and you will make your own pen holder to bring home!
GEAR: All materials, tools, and safety equipment are provided!
CLASSMATES: Come solo or with a friend, date, parent, or sibling! This class maxes at 4 students and is a good time for all!
BREAK OUT THE OVERALLS: Please wear jeans or canvas pants, closed-toed shoes (leather boots are best if you have them), and a non-synthetic shirt. Be sure to wear clothing you don't mind working in. You will get dirty. This is not a class for your favorite outfit!
