Wednesday Night Comedy

Erick Acuña is a Peruvian comedian based in Washington DC. For the last decade he has been teaching and performing improv comedy at Washington Improv Theater. He has performed in comedy festivals in over twenty cities around the US, Latin-America and Europe. His solo show ‘Acuña Acuna’ had a sold out run at the Capital Fringe and it was voted ‘Best Solo Performance’ and ‘Best of Fringe’. His show was also a finalist at the Yes, And… Laughter Lab in partnership with Comedy Central.

7pm / Doors Open7:30-8:30pm / The TikTok Show &amp; Heavy Rotation- The TikTok Show: The cast interviews TikTok creators about their niche and most viral videos to inspire hilarious scenes based on the stories. <a href="https://vm.tiktok.com/ZTdVNvCnf/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Guests</a>: With over 1 million likes on TikTok, messy queens NuNu and Raff give messy opinions about the mess in DC. - Heavy Rotation: It takes years for a Broadway musical to hit the stage, but Heavy Rotation creates a brand-new rock musical on the spot. 8:30-9:30pm / Who Did It? An Improvised Murder Mystery ShowThere’s been a bloody crime in Washington, DC. How did it happen? Where? Who was killed? Those things are up to you, the audience! You can even bring your own props to scatter around the murder scene, and they will be incorporated into the show. Then, some of DC's hilarious improvisers will solve the case right before your eyes. TicketsTickets are $10 per show. Want to attend both shows? Just select the "Both Shows" option and get a ticket for both shows for only $15. Special discount for DCAC members.
