WedLocks 2017

WedLocks was founded in 2013 with the dream of pampering brides in a unique way that no other wedding industry event in Seattle was capturing. The goal is for beauty and wellness professionals to get an opportunity to meet brides, grooms and the wedding party face-to-face and share their wealth of knowledge and information. Highlights of the event have always included our interactive beauty bar with free services ranging from hand massages, lashes, braids and more! This year’s team can’t wait to bring you the best in the business in a fun, beautiful and inspiring day at Metropolist. The goal of Wedlocks is to bring the appropriate vendors face to face with brides and their bridal parties who are in need of the services and merchandise you have to offer. The unique setting of this event allows for maximum opportunity to share knowledge and information with potential clients in hopes of capturing their business.JEN OWENSJen is the owner and lead designer at Jen Leslie Events, a full-service wedding planning, floral and event design studio. She spearheads the logistics for WedLocks by planning and designing the event along with securing the event sponsors. Jen believes that each bride should have the wedding day of her dreams and that is what shestrives to create for WedLocks.MEGAN BINGHAMMegan is the owner of Offwhite Makeup and Beauty, an on-location hair and makeup company specializing in airbrush makeup and wedding day hairstyles for brides and their bridal party. Megan is the beauty expert on the team with over 10 years in the industry. She knows everyone and takes the lead securing our vendors and ensuring the beauty bar is an awesome experience for all. Megan is one of the founding creators of WedLocks and loves chatting all things beauty!KIMBERLY WITCHEYKimberly is the owner of Phenix Paper Co.,a design studio specializing in branding andday-of services. Kimberly helps us make WedLocks look good. As an award-winning graphic designer, she brings more than 10 years of ad agency and marketing experience to create our promotional materials and always has our end-users in mind. She is the newest member to the team and we are so lucky to have her!

WedLocks is an interactive event focused on beauty for weddings. You can consider it a one-stop shop for brides, grooms, wedding party members, friends, family and anyone interested in meeting awesome vendors and getting pampered before the big day. Test your lip color at our beauty bar, purchase all of your day-of beauty products (including lingerie!), test lashes, talk with health and wellness coaches, sip on champagne and enjoy an afternoon of all things pretty!
PLUS <A HREF="http://www.desireehartsock.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Desiree Hartsock</A>, former Bachelorette, will be there selling and signing copies of her new book My Fairytale Wedding. Her book offers advice on how to have an extraordinary wedding, on an ordinary budget and offers super-practical tips on how to make your wedding a fabulous and memorable event.  
And that's not all...a portion of ticket sales, as well as all raffle prizes, are going to a charity that is near and dear to our heart, <A HREF="http://www.gethitchedgivehope.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Get Hitched Give Hope</A>. GHGH is run 100% by volunteers and all proceeds benefit the <A HREF="http://www.dreamfoundation.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dream Foundation</A>, granting dreams for terminally ill adults.
