2018 comes the 20th anniversary of Tencent, and sees another great year for WeChat.
Earlier this year, WeChat launched another innovative platform for Mini Games. Immediately, we see great success to those who developed Mini Games on WeChat, with surprising high active users and gross income brought to them.
Mini Game is a brand new game application developed and played completely on the WeChat platform that embodies the concept of “grab and go”. Users don’t need to sacrifice phone storage since Mini Games can be played without download and installation. WeChat Mini Games bring convenience and speed to both developers and users. The social features based in WeChat make Mini Games more than just games, as they are also powerful social extensions that can be enjoyed with friends. 
But what is making this platform more powerful is that it's beyond gaming. We saw tons of businesses from completely different industries have leveraged the social feature and gamification of WeChat Mini Games to interact and engage with their audience, customers and fans. Tencent also supports all kinds of business possibilities by providing tools from Tencent Social Ads and Tencent Cloud.
Together this year, on November 12th, we brought to you this WeChat conference in Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, a city full of tech-savvy and curious people. The featured speakers include Head of Product of WeChat Mini Games, Director of WeChat Marketing and WeChat Pay, Director of Tencent Cloud, Senior Business Manager of Tencent Social Ads and more.
