Weaving workshop- Come and make baskets and matts using locally sourced willow, rafia, grasses and more.

Come and try your hand at weaving, using a variety of materials, many locally sourced, including - bullrush &amp; willow collected at Woodberry Wetlands as part of the conservation programme, rafia recycled from our Xmas 2021 decorations, wire upcycled from broken bark fencing, wool, grasses and more! We will make little baskets, mats and mini looms from recycled wood to form woven pictures and practice weaving techniques used all over the world for centuries. Suitable for children over 5yrs with the assistance of a carer.
