This series of discussions will explore South Asian influences in contemporary creativity in the UK.

For our first discussion, we are delighted to welcome ceramicist and designer Vallari Hershwal, who has been creating tableware and homeware for 25 years first in India, more recently in the UK. She will be bringing some examples to see and handle.

Mansi Souche (aritst and MA student at Cambridge School of Art) will be in conversation with Vallari on the themes and experiences in her work. There will be opportunties for questions and discussion with the artist and other participants.
