About this event

  • 2 hours

“Weaving a Threefold Cord” is intended to be a gathering of Jesus’ followers and disciples in the central Ohio region, together with those who may be seeking Him, those who are curious about Him, and those who wish to know more about following Him. We hope and pray that this event will bring together those who are in need of the peace, the mercy, and the grace which come through Jesus Christ, uniting us spiritually. Followers of Jesus are stronger when standing together on the Word of God, especially in a time of great challenge and upheaval in culture and society. This free event will include inspirational speaking, moving music, and praise and prayer for our nation, region, churches, and people.

The keynote speaker will be Tommy Bowden, two-time Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Coach of the Year at Clemson University and widely-recognized motivational speaker who has dedicated his life to making a difference in the lives of others. His teams were known not only for their success on the field but also in the classroom, with top graduation success rates and top team grade point averages. In 2006, Tommy received the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Coach of the Year Award. Tommy is a committed and much sought-after Christian speaker weaving his experience and faith into messages which inspire, enlighten, and challenge!

Sponsored by Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, this free event is offered with the support of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Westerville Area Resource Ministries (WARM). A free-will offering will be received on Friday evening, with ten percent designated for WARM. Both the May 31 and June 1 event are ticketed as seating is limited.
