Si te interesa la creatividad e investigación en la intersección entre textil y tecnología, no puedes perderte este taller.
Debido al éxito que tuvo en nuestra pasada edición, este año en el congreso internacional Atenea repetimos con la artista koreana Aesun Kim (https://linktr.ee/aesun) para aprender a diseñar y desarrollar un wearable tecnológico que represente un gesto cultural o personal. Forma parte de su investigación personal sobre gestos culturales y e-textiles, el cual lleva desarrollando tres años a través de Europa y Asia.
El taller se realizará presencialmente en el aula B3 en la planta baja de la Facultad de Bellas Artes de San Carlos en la Universitat Politècnica de València, el próximo vienres 26 de noviembre de 2021 a las 11am.

Título : Gesture Drawing gloves
Descripción de la artista: This workshop is an extension of my previous work “ A spiritual space”. I wanted to express myself between the dancer&#x27;s nonverbal communication and electronic devices. This workshop is a case study of understanding the body language and embodied interface design.
Gesture drawing workshops offer participants to participate and think again about the body language that they used in their own culture. From the basic electronic logic, we can practice how to design embodied interfaces. During the workshop, participants discuss their own body language and share the idea and can draw their embodied interface.

Aesun Kim( b.1991 Seoul, Korea) is an Artist and creative practitioner who is interested in Human-Computer Interface. Her practice focuses on Wearable Interface based on Biometric Data with digital aesthetic.
She has been developing her interactive art and wearable design works at the University of Art and Design Linz(AT). Her current research revolves around exploring the creative, technical e-textiles and wearable Interfaces. Her works have been presented at exhibitions and festivals globally including V&amp;A digital design weekends 2018,LCF London2019, ARSelectornicafestival 2019,2018, Atenea 2019-2021. Selected Artist in Tada residency 2021, HFF2020.
Habrá un técnico de apoyo del equipo de Atenea que además hará la traducción simultánea si fuera necesario.
