Calling all TSN Students! Step into the future of design. Create wearable tech that blends creativity, engineering, and personal style.
Event Overview:
Wearable technology is all around us—from smart watches and fitness trackers to light-up clothing and assistive devices. In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the exciting intersection of fashion, design, and engineering as they create their own wearable technology projects. Using tools and techniques such as circuitry, sewing, and 3D printing, students will transform ideas into functional creations they can wear and show off.
Along the way, participants will think like inventors and engineers, using the design thinking process to identify a need, brainstorm solutions, prototype, test, and improve their designs. Whether they're creating a wearable gadget that lights up, solves a problem, or simply expresses their creativity, students will gain experience with emerging technologies while developing valuable skills in innovation, problem-solving, and product design. Who knows? They may even design the next great wearable invention.
