Not sure if you heard, but a Federal Reserve report revealed the average homeowner had a household wealth of $231,400, compared to the average renter having a household wealth of just $5,200.It gets worst. People from marginalized communities lack access to ownership (aka stocks, businesses, and especially real estate), walla, the expansion of one of the largest wealth gaps in the country&#x27;s history continues. On a local level, aka Phila, the stats are even more grim, <a href="https://wallethub.com/edu/states-with-the-highest-and-lowest-financial-gaps-by-race/9842" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">per a recent study</a>:<ul><li>The homeownership gap between black Americans and white Americans has jumped to 30 percentage points, the largest number in 50+ years. </li><li>In Philadelphia, the number is 44.67%, nearly 15 percentage points above the national average.</li><li>A 215.73% gap in the poverty rate between Hispanic and White Pennsylvanians </li><li>A 40.95% median household income gap between Black and white Pennsylvanians</li></ul>That brings us to <a href="https://wealthlab.co/wealth-building-conference-headed-to-philly-this-summer" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">WealthCon</a>.
