The James R. Watson and Judy Rodriguez Watson College of Education (WCOE) will host its annual Credential Ceremony for students who have or will complete their credential coursework in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024.
The Credential Ceremony will be held in the CSUSB Coussoulis Arena on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 6:00 PM, doors open at 5:15 PM.
This will be the only ceremony for credential completers, Palm Desert Campus will not hold an event.
STUDENTS - TO REGISTER:
- Click "Reserve a Spot"
- Enter your name and email address
- Click "Register"
- Enter the number of guest attending (don't include yourself)
- Indicate that you are credential student
- Type your name as you want it to appear on your certificate
- Enter Coyote ID Number
- Select your credential program
- Select your completion semester
- Indicate ADA accommodations, if any
- Click "Get Tickets"
Registration complete!
You and your guests do not need to print any tickets for the event.
Make sure to complete your registration before Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

The attire is business casual, no regalia (cap and gown).
Parking Lot N and Parking Structure East are closest to the Arena. Parking permits are available for purchase at the main kiosk or any blue permit dispenser. Every vehicle must have a parking permit displayed on the dashboard.
Students will check-in at the Physical Education building located next to the Legacy Fountain at 5:15 PM. Guests can enter the Coussoulis Arena at 5:15 PM.
Yes, you can go in to your order and make changes to the number of guests and the spelling of your name for your certificate before May 1, 2024. After that date, please email any changes to coeevents@csusb.edu.
If you are a credential student who has finished or will finish all of your coursework in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024, you are invited to participate in this event. You CAN join if you have additional requirements to complete to apply for your credential.
No. To receive your actual teaching, administrative, or PPS credential, you must meet all of the criteria set forth by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing and apply for the credential recommendation through our Credential Office https://www.csusb.edu/teacher-education/credential-processing
The Palm Desert Campus will NOT be holding a ceremony this year.
