Join the WCHAS on a day trip to Heritage Hill State Park's Civil War Encampment. Step back to the Civil War and join the 1st Wisconsin in the late summer of 1862, shortly after being reformed as a 3-year regiment. Throughout the weekend military reenactors will be conducting infantry drills, firing demonstrations, and sharing camp life during the months prior to the battle of Perryville, Kentucky, in the fall of 1862.

A bus will depart from the Morgan House in Oshkosh at 9:30 am for Heritage Hills State Park in Green Bay and return to the Morgan House by 4:00 pm. Please pack a small lunch to bring along--the park has a picnic area for guests. The ticket price includes admission to Heritage Hill State Park.
