Wavetree is a high energy blues/classic rock band, formed when veteran touring musicians from the Atlanta area wanted to have an outlet to play a mix of their favorite cover songs while performing original songs as well. The band covers artists like Gary Moore, Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, J.J. Cale, Frank Zappa, The Allman Brothers, just to name a few. The band members are:

Barry Richman: guitarist on the 1980s hit song "Key Largo" by Bertie Higgins, and has performed on stage with The Allman Brothers, Government Mule, Marshall Tucker Band, Les Paul, Eric Johnson, Eric Clapton, and many other well known artists, and has several albums released.

George Price: A fixture in the Atlanta music scene and often referred to as "The human juke box", George has played with practically every name in the Atlanta area and provides vocals and guitars for Wavetree.

Charlie Korch: one of the most in demand drummers in town, formerly playing with Sunset Strip, Elton Live, Back in Black, among many others. Charlie provides vocals as well as top tier drummings.

Dana McCarthy: Dana has performed and toured with both original acts and cover bands, most notably as an opening act for bands such as Blue Oyster Cult, B-52s, Mothers Finest, Pablo Cruise, The Dregs and others. He provides bass and vocals for the band.

Joel Edwards: Joel is an outstanding keyboardist as well as bassist, and performs regularly as a solo artist, keyboardist with Rubber Revolver, bassist with Divided By Five, and has guested with numerous bands around town such as Freebird-ATL. Joel has also recorded on several albums and provides keys and vocals for the band.
