About this event

Created by Waves of Grief Collective that stretches across the west coast from Washington to Hawaii, this is a monthly gathering that creates space for our individual and collective grief of all kinds to be seen and held by one another and by the wisdom and expanse of Mother Ocean. Our guided time together will include safety, ritual, voluntary collective sharing, and individual time for you to be on, in, or near the water with the witness of the waves. Frequently asked questions

What should I bring?

Bring the grief in your body and yourself. Optional are: a surfboard/paddleboard/wet suit if you want to be in the water, a bathing suit and change of clothes for cold plunging, OR a blanket/chair/towel/journal for sitting on the beach near the water.

What is provided?

Guided ritual and communal sharing, hot tea for winter months, extra towels/blankets if you forget.
