W ave Space Creative Camps will focus on printmaking and design, learning about cool artists that are making a living of their designs and having fun making art!
We will have fun projects with stencils, screen printing, block printing with an emphasis on graphic design principles and expanding our creativity.
Creative Camps are a great after school activity for kids to learn more about art and try new materials and techniques.
W e will have guest artists come and speak with the class during the week about their life as a professional artists and what it takes to build a business around your art.
We will be filming some parts of the classes as part of a short documentary about the classes and arts education. Our aim with this is to promote art education and encourage more kids to take art classes, that there are different types of art and you don't have to be "good at art", art is good for you!
A fter the camp we will have an art gallery opening showcasing all the amazing work our students made in class. This will be held at Human Heart Studios.
