Notes for ticket buyers. If you wish to camp with your vehicle you need to purchase either a Large Vehicle Camping Pass or a Car Camping Pass (depending on your vehicle type). Any vehicle entering the event camping area is required to have a Camping Pass. Only one Camping Pass is needed per vehicle. There is free parking in the Day Parking Lot. You're more than welcome to park your vehicle in the Day Parking Lot and pitch a tent in the event camping area as long as you have your 2-Day Weekend General Admission or Single Day. Mega Melon Backstage Pass and Premium Electric Site's come with Vehicle Camping Passes.

Thursday Early Arrival tickets are per person. Not per vehicle. Each individual entering on Thursday needs a Thursday Early Arrival and a 2-Day Weekend General Admission in addition to a vehical camping pass (assuming you are camping with your vehicle).

The 20th annual Watermelon Pickers’ Fest celebrates its return in 2024! The event will take place September 6-7, 2024 at the Clarke County Ruritan Fairgrounds in Berryville, VA.

The Watermelon Pickers’ Fest has become an annual gathering of the nation’s finest bluegrass, country, and Americana musicians, attracting 3,000 guests a year and a devoted following of folks they consider family. “We have a whole family that comes here every year to put on this festival Frazer Watkins said. “It’s special and we couldn’t do all this without them.” Watermelon Pickers' Fest has clearly made a new name for itself and has become a community of musicians and music-lovers, a devoted following of folks and family who come back every year.

In addition to the performances, the festival also offers a variety of workshops, craft and food vendors, as well as activities for children.
